CCTV
Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council inaugurated its CCTV system in January 1999, with 6 cameras. The system has now grown to 21 full colour cameras.
The overall daily management of the CCTV system is the reponsibility of the CCTV Supervisor, who supports an enthusiastic and committed team of 23 volunteers.
Whilst Wiltshire is still one of the safest counties within the UK in which to live, the mission statement is still very appropriate in that we strive to keep Royal Wootton Bassett a safe place for both residents and visitors to live, work and socialise.
If you are over 21, have any spare time and would like to support your community as a volunteer, please contact the CCTV Supervisor on 01793 850222.
