Markets

Wednesday Market

A copy of Market Trader Application Form, Trader Consent Form and Rules and Regulations booklet is available below:

Our Weekly Market is held on Wednesdays throughout the year, around the Town Hall in the High Street between 8.30am to 4.00pm. For information on those who trade at our market please see Meet Our Traders link.

We politely request residents, visitors and workers to not park in bays that have cones displayed from 6am Wednesday mornings between Alan Hawkins to St Bartholomew’s & All Saints Church in the High Street, as we require these spaces for market traders and market trader vehicles. If you find these spaces available after 9.30am then you are welcome to park.

RWB MARKET NEWS

September 2023

We are pleased to welcome our newest stall, Hedgerow Cheese. Check out his amazing selection of soft and hard cheeses.

Our card stall is also returning on Wednesday 6th September 2023, after Sharon has spent a long period recovering from an injury. Why not pop down and say hello, she very much looking forward to seeing her regulars, fellow traders and new shoppers to our market.

FREE shopping bag giveaway went down a storm on 23rd August 2023. It was a lovely sunny day and it was great for Councillors and staff to speak to customers. We would be looking to purchase some more bags in the future, so please keep an eye out on our social media and other communication channels.

Wootton Bassett Town Hall & Trust, operator of the weekly market, is a member of NABMA, National Association of British Market Authorities.
