Town Council award grant to Keep Bassett Tidy

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Councillors have awarded a grant of £750 to the group Keep Bassett Tidy after receiving an application for Grant Aid.

Keep Bassett Tidy are a newly established group of 46 volunteers who litter pick from Royal Wootton Bassett streets, both as individuals and at group events. With the increase in volunteers the group approached the Town Council for a grant towards covering the costs of public liability insurance and litter picking equipment to ensure that the group will be able to continue to function over the next 2 years.

The Town Council recognise the hard work the group have achieved so far and would like to send their thanks to Keep Bassett Tidy and the volunteers for all they have done around the town.

If your group or organisation would like to make an application for Grant Aid, please get in touch with Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council for an application form either by e-mailing or download a copy of the form and guidance notes from our website.
