How will you Honour Her Majesty’s 70 years of service?

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council are seeking to learn about how local people will get together and celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, on the extended bank holiday between 2nd June and 5th June 2022.

The national celebrations will mark the first of our Nation’s Monarchs to complete 70 years of service and will see an exciting programme of national events including the Platinum Pageant, Trooping of the Colour and the 14th Annual Big Lunch.

In Royal Wootton Bassett, both the motto of ‘We Honour Those Who Serve’ and the ‘Royal’ pre-fix to the Town’s name command an extra special celebration in honour of Her Majesties service, so the Town Council is looking to learn about all the creative plans of its residents, groups and organisations.

Businesses, community groups and local volunteers are all invited to share their plans with the Town Council, who will be supporting local events via its communications.

Those wishing to get in touch can contact the Town Council via: enquiries@royalwoottonbassett.gov.uk
