Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council supports many community groups and organisations with grants, and every year as part of the budget setting process, the Town Council includes funds to help local community groups and projects

Your group or organisation must be based in Royal Wootton Bassett or in the close surrounding area and must be able to demonstrate that it benefits a significant number of local people living in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council’s Community Grants process has now changed. The new Community Grants application form has moved online and all applications received will now be considered at a special Revenue & Resources Committee –

Community Grants Meeting to be held on Thursday 10th July 2025.

All community groups are expected to attend the meeting and speak on behalf of their application.

To apply, please complete the online application form via My Bassett portal . The closing date is Thursday 12th June 2025. Please ensure you read the Community Grant Policy to check your group’s eligibility.
