As part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, our Town Crier performed a Jubilee Cry at 2pm on Thursday 2nd June 2022 followed by the Beacon being lit at Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club later that same evening, one of many throughout the UK and Commonwealth. (Interesting Fact: the last time the Beacon was lit was 28 years ago to commemorate the 50 years of the D-Day Landings).
