Proposals have been received for a new food store off Malmesbury Road (B4042). The scheme includes 2.15 hectares of a new community open space as well as a modern Lidl foodstore. The open space includes parkland, play areas for families to use, seating areas, accessible footpaths and a wildflower meadow.

The Lidl store would be built to the company’s latest specifications and deliver up to 30 new jobs. The site would include 125 parking spaces, access from Malmesbury Road, Electric Vehicle charging points and wider tree planting across the site.
