The Town Council were sad and disappointed on learning that the play equipment at Poetsfield, Otters Way, Showfield, Old Court play parks had been vandalised with graffiti, last week. Our grounds team are presently carrying out the task of removing this significant amount graffiti, so please bear with us whilst this work is undertaken.

The public toilets at Boroughfields Shopping Centre were also vandalised with a lot of graffiti and sadly excrement being smeared on the toilet, floor and surfaces [on numerous occasions] and so were temporarily closed for a week, whilst they were cleaned.  They have now re-opened, but there is still some graffiti on one of the doors which isn’t coming off using our usual products, so once again bear with us as we work out the best way to remove it.

The Town Council are working closely with Wiltshire Police to identify those responsible. If anyone has any information, please contact Wiltshire Police on 101.
