The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust

The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust helps older and vulnerable people to stay safe, secure and independent in their own homes. We focus on preventing crime, reducing fear of crime and fire risk, and increasing digital confidence.
We offer
- Home Security Service: Three mobile “Bobby Vans” operate across Wiltshire and Swindon. Skilled operators visit people at home to assess risk and install practical security measures such as door and window locks, chains, door viewers and fire-safety equipment. All work is provided free of charge.
- Stay Safe Online: Trained staff and volunteers provide one-to-one home visits, group talks and practical support to help people avoid online scams, protect their data and use the internet safely.
- Community reassurance & prevention: Talks and advice sessions for community groups, helping people feel safer and more confident.
Beneficiaries

- Adults aged 18+ with a registered disability
