The Town Council supports local voluntary and community groups through a Community Grant Scheme.

The grant applications are now closed for 2024 however, the Town Council are currently reviewing the grant aid process with a view to have a dedicated Revenue & Resources meeting to award community grants once a year to community groups and other non-profit making organisations who meet the Council’s guidelines and criteria. If your organisation wishes to apply for grant aid, please keep an eye out on the Town Council Facebook page and this webpage for the timeline for applications for 2025/26. All recipients will be invited to attend the Annual Town Meeting to explain how the grant was used and the difference it made.
