IMPORTANT NEWS – POETS PARK FOOTPATHS

The paths are now complete. Thanks to our contractor who has completed the work to spec and carried out a great job.

The use of self-binding gravel instead of tarmac will be more conducive to the changing ground conditions, as it will be more flexible, but also our Grounds Team will be able to maintain the surface when required with a stock of the material. It is also a recycled product, so better for the environment too.

Poetsfield Play Park

Poetsfield Play Park can be found via Byron Avenue using postcode SN4 8JU.
This play area has a very large playing field for all ages to have a kick about (goal posts provided), a game of basket ball or a picnic! Children can cycle to the park and secure their bikes with our cycle rack.

The park itself has two play areas; one for toddlers designed for children under 5 with a wide range of equipment including “Ahoy me hearties” pirate ship and a junior play area for children over 5 which includes a table tennis table, basket swing, a surfboard swing and lots more!
