Jubilee Lake Play Park

CORONAVIRUS :

2 December 2020 – This play area is open to the public to use. Please take note of the notices [see poster on the right] posted around the area with guidance on keeping users, parents, carers safe.

Accessing green space and exercise; the Government updates its guidance on accessing green spaces and undertaking exercise safely regularly so please keep checking the link for the latest advice.  To stay safe, the public must:

  • take hygiene precautions when they are outside
  • wash their hands as soon as they are back indoors
  • keep at least two metres apart from anyone outside their household at all times
  • take hand sanitiser with them when they set off in case there are no handwashing facilities

The guidance  includes an updated list of what the public can now do, as well as a reminder to respect other people and protect the natural environment. 

The Cabinet Office’s FAQ document on what the public can and cannot do, and the guidance on staying alert and safe has been updated accordingly.

22 May 2020 – The grounds maintenance team are back at work, we kindly ask residents to respect staff whilst they work in the park and observe social distancing.

Covid 19 guidance on using Jubilee Lake Play Park

Within Jubilee Lake Nature Reserve, the Town Council is proud to offer a large play park for children of the under the age of 12.
The play area consists of a zipwire, large pirate ship and lots more!
