Over the past few years, incidents of criminal damage in our community have highlighted the need to inspire our young people to take pride and care for their surroundings.

To address this, Royal Wootton Bassett Academy students have been asked to create designs inspired by themes of community, environment, and youth, with the winning design being transformed into a stunning mural to be painted by a local artist, alongside Royal Wootton Bassett Academy students on Borough Fields Shopping Centre Toilets, during the week of 14th to 18th July 2025.

We are seeking support from local businesses to help bring this mural to life. Whether you can donate 1st, 2nd or 3rd Prizes or provide materials and equipment such as masonry paint, brushes etc., if you feel you can assist then please contact Mark Hopkins, Chief Officer, by emailing enquiries@royalwoottonbassett.gov.uk by Friday 13th June 2025.

As sponsors of this project, you will be invited to the official ceremony to mark the project’s success, plus be named on a plaque that will showcase your commitment to fostering youth engagement and environmental stewardship in Royal Wootton Bassett.
