We are pleased to announce that any open letters sent by the Town Council to partner organisations and agencies will now be published in the Council Documents folder on our website, providing greater transparency and easier public access to our correspondence on important local issues.

The folder now includes a letter dated 31st July 2026 sent to Helen Belcher, Wiltshire Council Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Regeneration and Assets of Wiltshire Council expressing the Town Council’s opposition to the proposed Household Recycling Centre in Royal Wootton Bassett. The letter outlines concerns about the potential impact on the town and its residents and calls for the concerns to be investigated and publicly addressed before any final decision is taken.
